Those who know me, know that I attend every single Commission and CRA meeting. I know the people, program and players, and I shoot straight. The only candidate for Mayor for Boynton Beach who has the smarts, devotion, and EXPERIENCE to lead BB into the future is Jose Rodriguez. Jose has learned much during his 3 years as District 3 Commissioner, and he has grown into a caring leader. Sitting on the Commission has given Jose a better perspective than the other candidates who have no dais experience. Jose is willing to fight to make good things happen for our downtown and the Old High School. Getting the downtown going would improve our entire city, and he has the vision and courage to get Boynton out of the rut we are in. While it is true the other Mayoral candidates might be fine human beings, only Jose has the experience to weigh and make the decisions to lead Boynton to a better future.
I live in District 3, and I also totally support Steven Holzman for Commissioner of Dist. 3. Steven is an intelligent and ambitious young attorney who also cares tremendously about getting our downtown going. He and his beautiful wife Andee, actually live on Ocean Ave. and I met them at the Green Market last year when we struck up a conversation lamenting the lovely Old High School and what a super Community Cultural Center it should be. Every day the Old School continues to languish, is a day we are missing out on having a community gathering place and a heart and soul for Boynton.
Steven and Andee are exactly the type of young professionals we would attract to Boynton if we got the downtown going with great stuff to see and do. Steven is your man if you agree that a healthy city is one that is firing on all cylinders and succeeding in every quadrant.
And no, Congress Ave. is NOT our downtown. Let’s get together and make the right choice to get Boynton back on track!
